Title: What are YOU doing THIS Friday?!!!!

Posted by: Daisy Cutter

Date: 12/8/2005 8:59 AM

Message: Did you know the Catwalk Club in Seattle was closing? Did you know it has been sold and is going to be remodeled come January? The Catwalk has been a long time venue for many events for our scene. Just in the short amount of years that I have lived here it was a Goth/Industrial club on the weekends, it was a space for many amazing bands that came through town, it was a venue for the many talented designers among us to show their wares at the Gothique Fashion Show, it was a venue for all the awesome Swedish Housewife Burlesque Events...

Speaking of Swedish Housewife events... THIS FRIDAY is a great chance to see an amazing show, and say goodbye to the Catwalk. Loretta Sin & myself, of Glitzkrieg Burlesque, will be in attendance. Come down and have a drink with us and watch a great show! xoxo

About Julie Atlas Muz:
Julie Atlas Muz, one of the most acclaimed and prolific conceptual
performers and choreographers in New York, sucker punches the
boundaries between performance art, dance and burlesque with dark,
twisted, come-hither performances that have secured her place in the
underworld of nightlife as well as the bastion of the art world. On
any given night in New York City, you can see Julie Atlas Muz
swimming in a salt water aquarium as a mermaid, peeling off the
outlandish costumes she dons, or covered in fake blood in the
basement of a gay bar. A 2004 Whitney Biennial artist, Muz has
presented her work at P.S. 122, HERE, The Performing Garage, La Mama
and Art at St. Anne's Warehouse, Chashama, LaMama, and Dixon Place.
Late at night you can see Julie Atlas Muz perform regularly in New
York at the VavaVoom Room, Joe's Pub, Galapagos, The Slipper Room,
The Coral Room, the Marquis, The Palace of Variety and a host of
other locations.

About Erochica Bamboo:
Miss Exotic World 2003, Erochica Bamboo, set hearts aflame with her
hotter-than-Wasabi routines the moment she set foot on US soil.
After sold out appearances with the Sex Worker's Art Show, Erochica
Bamboo is now frequent star at Los Angeles' acclaimed Lucha Va Voom
and has performed as a headliner across the globe.

About Miss Indigo Blue
Sexy, funny, irreverent and ingeniously clever, Miss Indigo Blue
flirts with the edgy, exotic and erotic fringes of burlesque.
Evoking the elegant tease of legend Gypsy Rose Lee, and inspired by
the brilliant comic wit of Whitney Biennial recipient Julie Atlas
Muz, Miss Indigo is more than just a great practitioner of the ol'
bump and grind; she enlivens her performances with a heady blend of
brainy and bawdy that makes audience's mouths water as their minds
whirl. Just back from her UK tour, Miss Indigo recently performed in
Dublin, London, and Bristol.

About Pa-Ooh-Lah
Bicoastal bombshell Pa-Ooh-La has been peforming in burlesque and
cabaret for over 20 years. She was one of John Sex's original burly
girls and performed in Joey Aria's epic rock soap opera "Mermaids on
Heroin. A surviver of the East Village 80's she has gone on to
produce, promote, and perform in her own shows and has been a
featured guest entertainer around the globe including Canada, Japan,
and Nashville.
